Teaching and research area of work of the department
The task of the Department is to plan and organize the implementation of the teaching process and scientific-research work in the field of plastic processing, through several related subjects that belong to the narrower scientific areas for which the Faculty is home. Technologies and plants for hot and cold rolling and thermomechanical processes of all types of rolled products, forging and free forging, pressing, pulling, extraction and extrusion are the focus of research, as well as NIR and consulting activities.
