Scientific – teaching process for this study program takes place in two directions; metallic and non-metallic materials. The study is organized for the duration of 4 years, according to 4+1+3 concept.

Professional qualifications obtained upon completion of studies are:

Bachelor of Materials Engineering – majoring in Metallic Materials
Bachelor in Materials Engineering – majoring in Non-metallic Materials

The teaching program is focused on the areas of material selection for specified purposes in accordance with material properties and possible processing and processing processes, selection and definition of material heat treatment technology, welding techniques and on the implementation and assessment of material quality.
In the area of ​​metallic materials, the focus is on steel, which in B&H inherits a tradition of production and processing for hundreds of years, and in the area of ​​non-metallic materials, the materials that receive more attention are cement, concrete and refractory materials.
