Azra Halilović was born in 1989 in Travnik. She completed elementary school and the First Gymnasium in Zenica. She earned the title of Bachelor of Chemical Engineering in 2012 at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, University of Zenica. In 2016, she obtained a master’s degree in Chemical Technology at the same faculty. In 2022, she defended her doctoral dissertation titled “Investigation of the Possibility of Using Hydrated Lime in the Methanolysis Process of Rapeseed Oil” at the Faculty of Technology, University of Tuzla, earning the title of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the field of Chemical Engineering. As a student, she received two Dean’s Awards for achieving the best academic performance and GPA during the first cycle of studies, as well as the Rector’s Award for the best academic performance and GPA during the second cycle of studies. Since 2013, she has been engaged as an external associate, and since 2014, she has been employed at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, University of Zenica. She currently holds the academic title of Assistant Professor.
