In the Chemical Engineering study program, students are educated in the scientific fields of Chemistry, Chemical Process Engineering, and Chemical Production Engineering. The curriculum is adapted so that future engineers acquire the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge from the above scientific fields. Lectures and calculus exercises of the study program are conducted by the Faculty, and laboratory exercises, apart from the laboratories of the Faculty, are also partly conducted at the “Kemal Kapetanović” Institute. Students of the third and fourth year of study, as part of professional subjects, visit the industrial plants of companies whose production program is included in the subjects studied in the study program. During the sixth semester, during one month, students perform internships in industrial plants of companies. The chemical engineering study program educates engineering personnel who have their place in many industrial branches, primarily in the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries.
