Amna Karić was born in 1989 in Zenica, where she finished elementary school and high school. In 2012, she obtained the title of chemical engineer at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of Zenica University. She obtained her master’s degree in chemical technology in 2017 at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of the University of Zenica. She defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “Optimization of the process of removing lead ions from aqueous solutions using bentonite as an adsorbent” in 2023 at the Faculty of Technology of the University of Tuzla, and obtained the title of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the field of chemical engineering. As a student, she received four dean’s awards for the best achievement and average grade during the first cycle of studies, as well as the rector’s award for the best results and average grade during the second cycle of studies. Since 2013, she has been engaged as an external associate, and since 2016, she has been employed at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of the University of Zenica. The teacher holds the title of assistant professor.
