Dejana (née Brkić) Kasapović, born in 1988 in Doboj. She finished elementary school and general high school in Zenica. At the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of Zenica University, she graduated in 2011 with the thesis topic “GENERAL AND PITTING CORROSION TESTING OF STAINLESS STEEL”, and in 2016 she obtained her master’s degree of chemical engineering with the thesis “CORROSION OF CONCRETE AND STEEL REINFORCEMENT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MAGNESIUM SALTS”. During her studies, she received Certificates for the best achievement and grade point average during the second, third and fourth year of study, as well as the Award of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science for the best achievement. She received her doctorate in 2023 at the Faculty of Science of Sarajevo University with the thesis “STUDY OF THE INFLUENCE OF RASPBERRY EXTRACT (Rubus idaeus L.) ON THE CORROSION CHARACTERISTICS OF COPPER AND ITS ALLOYS” and obtained the title of Doctor of Chemical Sciences. Since February 2013, she has been employed at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of the University of Zenica at the Department of Chemistry and Physics.
