Prof. Sc.D. Adnan Mujkanović obtained the title of engineer of non-metallic materials in 2003 at at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials in Zenica. At the same faculty, he defended his Master’s thesis entitled “The effect of steel fibers on the properties of concrete“, earning his Master of Science degree. He received his Sc.D. from the University of Zenica in 2011. after defending a dissertation entitled „Synthesis of amorphous SiO2, a filler for rubber, by precipitation from sodium silicate solution“.  In 2023, he was elected to the position of full time professor for the scientific field of Technical Sciences, the branch of Materials, and the field of Non-metallic materials. His research interests lie in the area of materials science and technology and are related to the research of the relationship between properties – microstructure – manufacturing and processing technology – chemical composition for various non-metallic materials (ceramics, concrete, binders, etc.).
