Prof. Sc.D. Nadira Bušatlić, graduated in 2003 at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials of the University of Sarajevo and obtained the title of graduate engineer of non-metallic materials. In 2011, at the same faculty, she received her master’s degree on the topic “Overview of mineral raw materials in Bosnia and Herzegovina that can be used in the production of cement“, and obtained the title of Master of Technical Sciences. In 2016, she defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “The influence of the addition of meta-kaolin on the preparation and properties of phosphate-bonded refractory materials“, which earned her the scientific degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences, scientific field Non-metallic inorganic materials.
At the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, she held the position of vice dean for teaching and student affairs, ECTS coordinator, and is currently the QA manager of the University of Zenica.
She devoted her scientific and research work to non-metallic inorganic materials (production, properties and application), such as cement, gypsum, concrete, refractory materials, and in the last 7 years she has been dealing with environmentally friendly materials, so-called geopolymers.
