2021.
Prof. Sc.D. Marina Jovanović obtained the title of metallurgical engineer in 1989 at the Faculty of Metallurgy in Zenica, University of Sarajevo. She defended her master’s thesis entitled “Mathematical model of bauxite homogenization in Bayer’s alumina technology” in December 1997, and she obtained the academic degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in 2009 by defending her doctoral thesis entitled “Structural and phase changes of clay during the sintering process “. In December 2021, she was elected to the position of full professor for the scientific field of Technical Sciences, branch of Materials, field of Non-Metallic Materials. Her entire scientific interest, as well as her teaching engagement, is related to the research of the relationship between properties – microstructure – manufacturing and processing technology – chemical composition and influence raw materials and additives for various non-metallic materials (aluminum, ceramics, concrete, alumina, clay, cement…).
