In the laboratory for thermal engineering, practical exercises are organized in the subjects of Thermal Engineering, Thermal Aggregates and Fuels and Combustion. In addition to education, the following tests are performed in the laboratory:
examination of the thermal power of solid fuels,
examination of the thermal power of gas fuels,
testing the viscosity of liquid fuels,
determination of the flash point of liquid fuels,
temperature measurement,
pressure measurement,
heat treatment,
flow determination using a measuring choke.
