Lamija Mujkanović was born in 1996 in Zenica, where she completed elementary school and the First Gymnasium. She earned the title of Bachelor of Metallurgical Engineering in 2020 at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of the University of Zenica, after which she enrolled in the second cycle of studies at the same faculty. In 2024, she defended her master’s thesis titled “The Impact of Alternative Fuels on Technical and Technological Parameters and Product Quality in the Cement Industry” and obtained the title of Master of Metallurgy.
As a student, she participated in extracurricular activities, including the 6th International Student Conference on Technical Sciences in Bor (Serbia, 2019), where she won 1st place for the best oral presentation. She was also awarded the Rector’s Prize for the best scientific research paper at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, University of Zenica, for the academic year 2018/2019.
Since February 2021, she has been employed as a permanent associate at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, University of Zenica, in the Department of Iron and Steel. She actively participates in teaching courses related to the scientific field of “Technical Sciences” – “Metallurgy” branch, specializing in “Process Metallurgy,” in the role of senior assistant.
